Governor J.B. Pritzker and leaders in Normal are speaking out against several large gatherings in the city. More than 70 people turned out at three locations Tuesday night to see prank video YouTubers the Nelk Boys. Illinois State University President Larry Dietz said yesterday that video from one gathering at The Lodge apartments showing people not wearing masks or observing social distancing is being investigated by school officials. Dietz said the university student conduct code outlines consequences for students involved in such gatherings.
