Contest Rules
Great Plains Media/WIBL-FM 107.7 The Bull will conduct the Bull Bucks Contest (the “Contest”) for the chance to win a to be determined cash prize between $100-$1,000. (The “Prize”)
WHO CAN ENTER
1.) Contest is open to those persons 18 and older, and who are legal US citizens and reside in the state of Illinois.
2.) Employees of Great Plains Media/107.7 The Bull/ Cities 92.9/ Magic 99.5, its parents, subsidiaries, contest sponsors, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any other McLean and Livingston area radio stations and the immediate family and other household members (i.e., spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, roommates, housemates, significant others, partners, and siblings) of each of the above are NOT eligible to enter and/or to win the Contest.
3.) Limit of one cash winner per household for the duration of the contest.
HOW TO ENTER / WIN
1.) No purchase necessary to enter or win the Contest. All federal, state and local laws and restrictions apply.
2.) To enter, starting Monday, October 14th, 2024 through Friday, November 29th 2024, be listening to 107.7 The Bull weekdays for the cue to call during the 9:15am, 12:15pm, and 4:30pm. Caller will get to guess how much we are giving away to the penny. Then Chris Murphy or Glen Cooper will then announce on air if the guess is too high or too low. The guessing will continue at the above times each weekday until a listener guesses the exact amount of money we are giving away and will win a check for that amount. After The Prize is given away, a new prize amount will be determined by Bull management and The Contest starts over again with the same rules as above until we receive a new winner. During the final week of the promotion, you will have a chance to register at all of the Bloomington-Normal area CEFCU branches starting at the opening of business on Monday December 2nd and ending Friday, December 6th at Noon. If you are a winner by either guessing the number on 107.7 & 92.1 The Bull or by entering at a CEFCU branch, said winner or a representitive of said winner approved ahead of time by 107.7 & 92.1 The Bull or CEFCU must be at the CEFCU branch at 2323 Empire St. in Bloomington, IL On December 7th at 10:45 AM. FAILURE TO ATTEND THE FINAL GIVEAWAY BY EITHER WINNER OR A REPRESENTITIVE OF THE WINNER WILL RESULT IN WINNER FORFEITING A CHANCE AT $1000 GRAND PRIZE AND PREVIOUSLY WON $107.70. 107.7 & 92.1 The Bull will determine the winner of the $1000 grand prize using a game of chance developed by 107.7 & 92.1 The Bull and or CEFCU.
3.) You may only win The Prize once during the contest’s duration. You may only guess the amount once per day.
4.) All decisions on winners will be made by station personnel and all decisions are final.
PRIZES
1.) Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible guesses.
2.) The number of winners for this contest depends on the TBD duration of the contest. Taxes, fees, surcharges, and gratuities not included.
3.) The Prize Winners must present a valid Illinois state issued picture ID in order to claim and receive their Prize.
4.) The Prize Winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on such Prize. The Winner must claim The Prize within 30 days of being awarded. In the event that The Prize Winner fails to claim The Prize within such 30-day period, such Winner shall forfeit The Prize and no other Winner will be chosen.
OTHER RULES
1.) 107.7 The Bull shall not be responsible for misdialed or misdirected phone calls. Stations are not responsible for any technical difficulties experienced due to overload, busy signals, loss of phone service, electronic problems or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing a phone call or for any technical malfunction related to any telephone connection, servers, routers, internet access, website access or any other technical problem that may impact entry, participation or prize claim.
2.) By participating in The Contest, each Contestant consents to 107.7 The Bull and its affiliates, employees, agents and all other related sponsors using for advertising and/or other promotional purposes, without additional compensation. Each Contestant’s image, voice and/or biographical information on radio or TV broadcasts, newspaper advertisements and/or any other medium in connection with such Contestant’s participation in The Contest.
3.) 107.7 The Bull accepts no responsibility of liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession and/or use of a Prize. In addition, the Winner will be required to sign a release form to collect their Prize. Failure or refusal to sign such release form will result in forfeiture of such Prize.
4.) 107.7 The Bull reserves the right to: (a) terminate or declare The Contest null and void and rescind one or more of the Prizes, if in its sole judgment, the rules or the integrity of the Contest have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a participant in the Contest; (b) alter or amend these Contest rules at any time; and (c) stop or conclude the Contest at any time without prior notice.
5.) 107.7 The Bull management shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the Contest and the interpretation of these Contest rules. The decisions of 107.7 The Bull shall be final. Entry into the Contest constitutes agreement by contestants to abide by these rules. Station reserves the right to disqualify or remove any entry at their sole discretion. If a Winner is found in violation of these rules or is otherwise disqualified by 107.7 The Bull, in its sole judgment, then he/she may be required by 107.7 The Bull to forfeit his/her Prize.
6.) All Prizes awarded through 107.7 The Bull are non-transferable, nor may a prize be substituted at the request of the contest winner, nor may a prize be substituted for cash. 107.7 The Bull reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event, the specified prize becomes unavailable.
7.) If a Prize is forfeited under these rules, then it will remain the property of 107.7 The Bull and a new winner of such Prize will not be selected.
8.) In the event of any dispute pertaining to this contest, the decision of the 107.7 The Bull management is final.
9.) A complete copy of the rules are available at the 107.7 The Bull studio, 108 Boeykens PL, Normal, IL 61761, during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). 10.) The name of any Winner(s) will be available by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to 107.7 The Bull above address, attn: GPM Bull Bucks Winner’s List.
11.) All contest rules are subject to change with or without notice.
